Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Csontos on July 15, 2026. Born and raised in Jersey City, Michael was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.

Michael was the loving son of William and Ann nee Flanagan. He is predeceased by his parents and his brothers Billy and Joe and his companion Adriane McNeill. He is survived by his brothers David (Patricia), Thomas (Dianne) and Peter (Marlene Wisnewski) and his sisters Ann McCarron (Bill) and Mary Eagan (Tom), and his sisters-in-law Marilyn and Ann. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews. Michael had a very special bond with his nephew Will Csontos (Reva) who he lived with for a short time in Georgia.

A graduate of Dickinson High School, Michael became a plumber, working with his brother Peter.

Michael was a talented musician. He knew the lyrics to every Beatles song. In his younger days Michael, alongside his father, was a model train enthusiast. He was very creative in building miniature cities from cardboard and matchsticks. His Military diorama were incredible.

Michael will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
