Anthony Vincent LaMotta, 84, of Ramsey & Surf City, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026. Born on February 2, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, Anthony lived a life defined by dedication to family, hard, work, and faith
Anthony was the beloved son of the late Vincent and Regina LaMotta. He was also predeceased by his brother, Vincent LaMotta Jr., and his sister, Regina. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
A proud graduate of St. John's University, Anthony built a successful career as a business owner and took tremendous pride in his work. He was known for his strong work ethic, determination, and commitment to those around him. One of his greatest joys was working alongside his son and best friend, Matthew, helping to grow the family business while sharing countless memories together.
Anthony was a devoted father to Patricia and Matthew, and a loving father-in-law to Stacey. He was a proud grandfather to William and Shannon, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life. He also cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Molly.
A faithful Catholic, Anthony found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He loved spending time at his home at the shore, where he created many treasured memories. He especially enjoyed sharing adventures with the love of his life Chris Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable experiences.
Anthony will be remembered for his generosity, devotion to his family, entrepreneurial spirit, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him. His legacy of love, hard work, and perseverance will continue to live on through his family and all whose lives he touched.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 6-24-2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.
Anthony will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
